Adjourn City of Oak Park Heights To: Mayor and City Councilmembers From: Jacob Rife, City Administrator Date: June 5, 2025 Re: City Council Workshop for June 10, 2025 We will review the following items: 1.Vacancy in the Office of the Mayor The City Attorney will be present to review the next steps. 2.Review the 2025 City Appointments Attached and for discussion is a list of the City appointments to various roles and commissions. th 3.58 Street Arborvitae Trees As discussed at the last Council workshop, numerous trees were impacted by the th exhaust stacks of the paving equipment used for the 58 Street Trail. Arborist Danielson believes the discoloration will go away after a year or so. The City Administrator and the City Arborist have spoken with the resident whose arborvitae trees are the most impacted. Given that at this point it is an aesthetic issue and the trees have not died, staff believes the best approach is to wait until the spring of 2026 and reevaluate the arborvitae trees.
