Re: Demolition Project @ 14337 N. 60th St.
Dear Ms. MacDonald:
On October 18, 2007 you were issued demolition permit 2007-00299 to demolish and remove
the old veterinarian/animal hospital building structure located at the above address.
This project was commenced and the wooden portion of structure removed; however the block
walls were not. On January 29, 2008, I addressed a letter to you requesting that the still
standing block walls be removed within 14 days of the date of that letter. To date,you have
not responded to my request nor complied as the block walls are still in place.
This letter is to inform you that the project must be completed no later than December 1, 2008.
This means:
1) The demolition of all the block walls and the removal of the blocks;
2) The removal of the concrete floor;
3) The removal of the bath tub in the rear yard;
4) The removal of the wash tub in the rear yard;
5) The removal of the appliance in the rear yard;
6) Compliance to all of the conditions noted within permit 2007-00299 as issued to you;and
7) Upon completion of the above,grading and seeding of the property.
Please be advised that this letter serves as my final request to you for brining your property into
compliance. Failure to meet compliance is a violation of City Zoning Ordinance 401.
Tree City U.S.A.
After December 1, 2008 failure to comply with the above, will leave me with little choice but to
forward the matter to the Police Department for citation review and consideration. Please be
advised that citations for City Ordinance violations are treated as misdemeanor offences.
Please contact me immediately if you have any"questions.
Sincerely,,
