WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Oak
Park Heights has personally polled all of the residents of
said Village relative to the proposed construction of a
Northern States Power plant within the limits of said Village
and has found the residents of said Village unanimously
favorable to the construction of said plant; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has considered the pros-
pective advantages and disadvantages of the construction of
said plant and from such investigation feels that the con-
truction of said Northern States Power plant will greatly
benefit not only the Village but the entire county and also
nearby property in the State of Wisconsin;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council
of the Village of Oak Park Heights that said Village pledge
its support to Northern States Power Company in its appli-
cations for location of its plant within the Village limits
and further, that the Village express its appreciation to
Northern States Power Company for selection of the Village as
the site of its proposed plant.
