Meeting called to order at 8:00 PM, by Mayor. Present:
Mayor Johnson; Trustees - Bell, Larson and. Monty.
MI.nutes of May 10 counc 1 meeting were read. Motion was
mode andseconcled that they be approved. Carried.
Mayor Johnson nominated Pennell Draxten for t. e position
of trustee, now vancant. On a vote of approval of the
trustees, Mr. Draxten 's appointment as tr Estee wasapproved,
and he was sworn in by clerk.
Clerk reported that the Northern States PowerCo had asked for
approval of a building permit to construct a pole stora -.e
rack on their property at the ebb-station. This was
approved by council .
A resolution was presented to the Council authorizing the
Northern States Power Co. , to enter into an agreement ;.,site
the Village of Bayport to rake a sanitary sewer connection
w' ththe Bayport treatment plant forthe Allen S. King electrical
-generating plant, this being one of the conditions i--posed
on the c mpany by the State of Minnesota. On roll call
vote, the resolution was approved as follows : Tell - aye;
Draxten - aye; Larson - aye; M,^nty - aye; Johnson - aye.
Drainage problems were discussed, and it appears t at in order
to improve the situation, that easements will be needed in
order to provide the proper drainage. 'Then it is determined
just where the culverts will be put in, neces ,ary easements
will be obtained .
Motion was made and seconded that a Permit to prerate the
gavel pit be issued to `^oelter Const. Co . Ca rried.

Neumeier, Eckberg, etc . - le al fees 2035.00
John Carlson, cutting grass 5.00
Chaves Heavy Eget. - street re airs 125.00
Motion was made andseconded they be paid. Carried.
Discussion of Mill Road condition - matter will be looked into.
Motion as jade and seconded that meeting be adjourned. Carried.
