Monty made motion to pay bills. Seconded by Larson. Carried.
Letter from Irvin Hanson describing damage to his home caused by flooding from a water
main with repair bills were read. Torgerson made motion to pay bills. Seconded by
Monty. Carried.
Letter from Mrs. Roxanne Erbstoesser objecting to reimbursement of John Sybrant by
the Village for expense he incurred in correcting his house number was read and filed.
Torgerson moved to accept Washington County Assessor's contract for assessing the
Village in 1971. Seconded by Mondor. Carried.
Monty made motion to approve contract presented by Johnson & De LaHunt to audit
Village books. Seconded by Torgerson. Carried.
YiMondor moved to adopt resolution stating the requirements and specifications relative
to slag and slag deposit areas eminating from Allen S. King Plant. Seconded by
Larson. Carried.
Torgerson made motion to table the Metro Sewer Board agreement until they resolve the
local personnel problem. Seconded by Mondor. Carried.
Fairview Cemetary proposal to annex to City of Stillwater was reviewed. Monty moved
to oppose annexation. Seconded by Larson. Carried.
Torgerson made a motion to authorize Village Attorney to engage the qualified appraisers
and expert witnesses needed for condemnation suit of Dairy Queen and Mobil Oil property.
Seconded by Mondor, Carried.
Mondor moved to approve 8-unit condominium plans presented by Swager Bobs. Seconded
by Torgerson. Carried.
Police Chief Cote introduced Richard Jorgenson to council as a candidate for the Village
police force.
Torgerson made motion to adjourn. Seconded by Monty. Carried.
