Planning Commission meeting. Richards stated that discussion would continue monthly at
workshops scheduled preceding the regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting and
encouraged anyone interested in the comprehensive plan to attend the workshops, the Planning
Commission meetings or to contact City Hall to learn where things are at with the plan updating
process.
Chair Runk clarified that, during the comprehensive plan updating process, the workshops would be
held at 6:30 p.m. in the large conference room at City Hall, the same evening as the regularly

C. City Administrator Johnson discussed a possible Technical Corrections Bill that was
hopeful to clear Congress this session. The Bill would clarify some of the appropriations
made in the 2005 Transportation Bill which identified approximately $400,000 originally
slated for the specific study of the `cut and cover' layout for Hwy. 36. It is hoped that the
Bill will provide a more generic language, allowing those funds to be used for other
potential designs.
