1 stopped by a few weeks ago to see how your project was progressing and spoke with your .
son, who informed me of your progress and future design plans for your back yard: It sounds
like you have a good plan, but 1 am concerned about the run off of rainwater should we have
some heavy rain storms. I ask that you please address this issue as soon as possible to prevent
any erosion and the possibility of silt run off into your neighbors' yards. In addition, please
remove the brush and other yard debris from the site
J also notice a chimney penetrating through the garage roof that serves to vent a wood burning
stove Please be advised that this is a violation of the State Mechanical Code that states no
solid fuel - burning appliances shall be located in a hazardous location, and it is a violation of the
State Fire Code that states that a person shall not utilize an open flame in a structure where
highly flammable materials are stored: The stove and chimney must be disconnected and
removed from the garage.
