SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUORS ON SUNDAY
AN ORDINANCE LICENSING AND REGULATING THE SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR
ON SUNDAYS AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OAK PARK HEIGHTS, WASHINGTON COUNTY,
MINNESOTA, DOES ORDAIN:
1203.01 Provisions of State Law Adopted.
The provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 340A, with reference to the sale of
intoxicating liquors on Sundays are hereby adopted and made a part of this
Ordinance as if fully set out herein.
1203.02 Special License Reauired.
No establishment to which on -sale licenses have been issued or hereafter may be
issued for the sale of intoxicating liquors, which are hotels or restaurants as defined
in Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 340, may serve intoxicating liquors on Sundays
without first having received a special license to do so as provided in this Ordinance.
1203.03 Annual Fees.
The annual fee for a special license to sell intoxicating liquor on Sundays in the City
of Oak Park Heights shall be established by Council resolution from time to time.
1203.04 Provisions of Ordinance No. 1202 Adopted.
The provisions of Ordinance No. 1202, an ordinance licensing and regulating the sale
and consumption of intoxicating liquor and providing a penalty for violation, with
reference to the definitions of term, application for license, granting of license,
conditions of license, restrictions on consumption, and all other matters pertaining to
the sale and consumption of intoxicating liquor, are hereby adopted and made a part
of this Ordinance as if fully set out herein.
1203.05 Penaltv.
Any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than
Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00) or imprisonment for not more than ninety (90)
days, or both, plus the costs of prosecution in either case.
