AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF OAK PARK
HEIGHTS, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, TO INCLUDE CERTAIN LANDS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OAK PARK HEIGHTS, WASHINGTON COUNTY,
MINNESOTA, DOES ORDAIN:
1503.01 Purpose.
A. That a Petition has been filed with the governing body of the City of Oak
Park Heights, Minnesota, by a majority of the property owners in number of
the following described real estate to have such land included within the City
of Oak Park Heights, Minnesota.
B. Said land is described as follows and is all located in the Northwest One -
quarter of the Northwest One - Quarter of Section Four (4), Township Twenty -
nine, (29) West, Washington County, Minnesota.
1. All that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (NW
1/4 of NW 1/4) of Section Four (4), of Range Twenty (20) West,
described as follows, to -wit: Commencing at the Northwest corner of
said NW 1/4 of NW 1/4; thence East along the North line thereof for
a distance of 973 feet to a point; thence South parallel with the East
line of said NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 for 555.62 feet, more or less, to a
point in the North line of the property sold to Bill J. Pauley and wife;
thence East on the North line of said Pauley property to a point on the
East line of said NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 555.62 feet South of the
Northeast corner of the NW 1/4 of NW 1/4; thence North on said East
line to the Northeast corner thereof, thence West along the North line
of said NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 to the point of beginning, subject to
Highway easement and easements of record. Subj ect to a temporary
easement for a period of ten (10) years from May 26, 1970, over and
across the present driveway leading from the service lane on
Highway 212 South for a distance of 200 feet to the property to the
West as set forth in that certain deed by and between Mabel A. Klein
as Grantor, and C. C. Kirschenman and Jeanne Ellen Kirschenman.
1503.02 Ouantitv.
To quantity of land embraces within the foregoing description and bounded as
described is 4.45 acres more or less.
1503.03 Council Determination.
The City Council hereby determines and ordains:

A. That annexation will be to the best interest to the City of Oak Park Heights,
Minnesota and of the territory affected;
B. That the territory described herein abuts on the City and is so conditioned as
property to be subjected to City government.
C. That the annexation of the above described lands to the City of Oak Park
Heights has been consented to by the Township of Baytown, City of
Stillwater, and the Washington County Board of Commissioners.
1503.04 Extension.
The City Council does ordain that the corporate limits of the City are hereby
extended to include the property described in Section 1503.01 and the same is hereby
annexed to and included in the City of Oak Park Heights as effectually as if it had
originally been part thereof.
1503.05 Copies Filed.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file certified copies of this Ordinance with the
Minnesota Municipal Board, the County Auditor and the Secretary of State.
