We understand this development may have received preliminary approval f rom the City of oak Park Heights and therefore may not be required to comply with the current Brown's Creek Watershed District Rules. However, we would ask that you comply with the following for this project. Provide documentation that this development has received preliminary approval (prior to January 1, 2000 ) from the City of oak 'ark Heights and the conditions of that approval (letter of approval, Council minutes, etc.) Implement reasonable measures proposed by the District listed below that increases the lever of compliance with applicable District rules. The development does not propose any local quality,, quantity or volume control facility. It appears that the development is utilizing downstream regional facilities to meet f CWD Stormwater Management Rule requirements. The City of oak 'ark Heights and the Brown's Creek Watershed District will be discussing this issue in the future. We have determined that the erosion control and temporary BMPs shown in the proposed aradinor plan are enerally appropriate for the development. The implementation .tatio of the following recommendations is encouraged to increase the level of compliance with applicable isti -.ct rules: 1. Special restoration efforts should be taken to insure the slope above the storm sever line extending to the pond does not erode. wood Fiber blanket and seed should be placed on all slopes :1 or greater. 2. It is recommended that some method of ever ' dissipation be con tnrcted at S# I to prevent erosion and h1 h discharcre velocities, such as a drop manhole with a flatter, bi er pipe t the outlet. Special attention shoul l be paid to the sanitary sewer crossing. Managers: Craig Leiser, President Karen Kilberg, vice - President Dan Potter, Secretary E . This sump will collect parking lot sand and minimize pored sedimentation. This sump should be cleaned as often necessary by owner. 4 Some type of catch basin inlet sedimentation protection should be installed and maintained until the site is stabilized. 5 . The entire site drains to the southeast corner. Some type of overland stabilized drainaae swale should be constructed from the parking lot corner to the pond. This will transfer flogs in the event of an obstructed stormsewer.
