HomeMy WebLinkAbout1995-04-10 CC Minutes Excerpt CITY OF OAK PARK HEIGHTS COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES, MONDAY, APRIL 10, 1995 Call to Order: The meetin was called to order at 7:00 p.m. b Ma O'Neal. Present: Council member s Kern, Robert, Schaaf, Swenson. Staff present: Cit Administrator Robertson, Cit Attorne Vierl inc , Cit En Anderlik, and Police Chief Swanson. Staff Reports: Police Deoartment - Chief Swanson re authorit to sell a 19,88 Mercur Topaz seized throu forfeiture action at the Count Auction. Councilmember Schaaf moved, Swenson seconded, to g tant authorit to sell the vehicle. Carried 5-0. Swanson re authorit to sell a 1993 Chev S car at the Count Auction or later if necessar as it had over 100,000 miles on it. Councilmember Kern moved, Schaaf seconded, to g rant authorit to sell the vehicle. Carried 5-0. Swanson noted that he could not be at the next Council meetin on April 24, 1995 due to scheduled trainin but that he supported the proposed metro wide curfew which would be discussed at that meetin Council directed Swanson to submit a written recommendation to them on the proposed curfew. Swanson noted that the Police were currentl canvassin the Cit as part of the annual sprin clean-up effort. Utilit - ies De a t ent - Robertson reported that there had been several homes without water for a while at the south end of ' Sta Trail but that the Utilities Department had fixed the problem. Council directed Robertson to find out wh a particular lift station seemed to have a lot of maintenance problems. Old Business: Councilmember Schaaf moved, Swenson seconded, to table this item indefinitel Carried 5-0. Update on Applebees - Robertson noted staff had met with the Haase s and Applebees and that the Haases indicated no objection to plattin their land.
