ORDINANCE NO. 2009-102-04
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 102 CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF OAK PARK HEIGHTS SPECIFICALLY RELATED FEE CHANGES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OAK PARK HEIGHTS, WASHINGTON COUNTY,
MINNESOTA, DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Amendment. That Chapter 102 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Oak Park Heights is hereby amended to add the following changes in fees, providing as follows:
Schedule of Fee Amendments:
• Fire Protection Systems Installation & Remodeling Based on job value (see valuation based
• (Includes Wet, Dry, Alarm & Monitoring Systems) permit fee schedule). State surcharge
will be charged. Plan Review fee will
be charged, if applicable.
• Metropolitan Council
Service Availability Charge (S.A.C.) From $2,000 per unit to $2,100 per unit
• Swimming Pools Based on job value (see valuation based
permit fee schedule). State surcharged
will be charged. Plan review fee will be
charged, if applicable.
• Water Usage Rates (Quarterly):
Up to 15,000 gallons $ 28.31
+ Each 1,000 gal. over 15,000 gal. up to 50,000 gal. $ 1.96
+ Each 1,000 gal. over 50,000 gal. up to 99,000 gal. $ 2.68
+ Each 1,000 gal. over 99,000 gal. up to 200,000 gal. $ 3.23
+ Each 1,000 gal. over 200,000 gal. $ 3.91
• Sewer Usage Rates (Quarterly):
* Residential rates determined by amount of water used in the March quarter of each year.
* Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and High Density Residential rates are based upon actual
usage each quarter.
Up to 15,000 gallons from $54.28 to $56.99
+ Each 1,000 gal. over 15,000 gal. up to 50,000 gal from $3.70 to $4.07
+ Each 1,000 gal. over 50,000 gal. $4.50
Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect January
1, 2010 after its passage and publication according to law.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Oak Park Heights,
Washington County, Minnesota, on this 22 day of December, 2009.
