TO CONDUCT A ONE -DAY RAFFLE AT THE VFW CLUB 0323 ON MAY 7, 2009 WHEREAS, J. Michael Dvorak, on behalf of Ducks Unlimited, Inc. has applied with the State of Minnesota Gambling Control Board for a permit to conduct a one -day raffle on May 7, 2009 at the site of VFW Post #323, 5880 Omaha Avenue North; and WHEREAS, The City of Oak Park Heights has reviewed the application and finds that its purposes meet the necessary community standards; and WHEREAS, the City of Oak Park Heights has solicited the input of the public and there have been no objections to the granting of the application for the raffle permit as applied for by Ducks Unlimited, Inc. with the State of Minnesota Gambling Control Board.
