No actions were taken. I will be takin further actions on Centur Power. Centur Power's contractor claims (we have not confirmed the validit of the claim chan the location of the silt fence in order to save some trees. The chan resulted in the slope bein much steeper than desi With these slopes mechanical e cannot be used to remove the sediment. The need to g et the slopes stabilized prior to frost so we do not loose the hill with sprin run-off. Their erosion control plan on their approved buildin plans re that the sediment be removed from the fence wherever it reached Y2 of the hei of the fence. Their Browns Creek permit re removal at 113 of the hei Instead of removal the installed another fence a few inches in front of the fence. In one spot the have four fences formin basicall a ver weak retainin wall. Two of the fences have been overtopped b sediment. If we allow the sediment to fill in more than 6 inches in the current fence, I am afraid that the wei of all this material on the lower fences will cause a massive failure. I am g oin g to write them a letter specif that the sediment the have a choice to compl with the ori erosion control plan and di out the sediment of all fences and return the site and restore the ori fences or remove all sediment from the newest silt fences when the hei of the sediment reaches 6 inches. In addition, the are to stabilize the steep slopes with black dirt, g rass seed mixture for sideslopes that have limited sun, and install erosion control blanket throu prior to frost. TREE CITY U.S.A.
