BOX 2007 LINDY SWANSON OAK PARK HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA 55082 CHIEF OF POLICE ®' TELEPHONE: (651) 439 -4723 FAX: (651) 439 -3639 EMERGENCY: 911 October 13, 1999 Ms. Deanne Crosby 13733 N. 60th St. Oak Park Heights, MN 55082 Dear Ms. Crosby; At the meeting of the Oak Park Heights City Council last night, October 12, 1999, the City Council voted to not approve the issuance of a kennel permit to you at the above listed address. Your previous kennel permit expired on September 8, 1999. The City Council found that you have violated conditions of your previously issued kennel permit which specifically stated that no new dogs were to be added. We have a police report, control number 98703351 dated October 23, 1998, which states that an Oak Park Heights Police Officer observed three adult dogs and one puppy at your address. This letter is to be considered an order by the City of Oak Park Heights Police Dept. for you to reduce the number of dogs on your property to no more than two. Failure to do so will result in prosecution by the City of Oak Park Heights for failing to comply with Ord. #601 which controls domestic animals and kennel permit issuance. I do hereby advise you to take whatever action necessary to be in compliance with this ordinance no later than October 27, 1999. I ask that you please contact me and advise me of your intentions for coming into compliance as our police department must confirm the fact that you take appropriate actions to resolve this matter. Sincerely, Lindy Swanson Chief of Police
