Johnson Cc: Julie Hultman; Jim Butler; Tom Ozzello; Judy Hoist; Postler, Dennis M; Erickson, Karen S Subject: Fox Hollow Utilities Page 1 of 1 Eric, I was out to this project today to witness a water main test. The contractor has placed enough fill over the water main pipe that they are able to pressure test it (we had previously told them that they could not test until the site grading is completed over the pipe). They are unable to get the water main test to pass, and 1 believe there may be a leak somewhere. If so, they could potentially be doing a lot of digging to find the leak. Tom 0. is going to be working with the contractor for the next couple of days (I am on vacation) as they try to get this pressure test to pass. As of now, the water main does not meet City standards. They will not be able to test the sanitary sewer right now because they haven't placed all of the fill over the sanitary sewer main. I believe some of this fill will need to be placed after the building foundations are backfilled due to the close quarters. As far as I know, the sanitary sewer has been installed correctly: I also believe that the storm sewer that has been installed meets City standards. Some of the shallow pipes will be installed at a later date after site grading is completed. I'll touch base with you on Monday to update you on the status of the water main testing. You can also check with Tom to see if there has been any change. Thanks, Brian M. :K .
