Re: Holida Station Store
Our File No. 55
Dear LaVonne,
We have reviewed the site plan for a proposed Holida Station and convenience
store on the southeast corner of Os Avenue and the south T.H. 36 fronta
road. While not shown on the plan, it is assumed that water and sewer service
will be obtained from the former Standard Station service lines. Two access
locations are proposed, one bein 35 feet in width on the fronta road and a
common access with the propert on the south to Os Avenue. It is su
ted that the Os approach be limited to * 32 feet which should accommodate
tankers and that a 35 foot wide approach be allowed on the fronta road be-
cause of the an la of the roadwa in this location. Permits must be
obtained from the various road jurisdictions before entrances can be built or
relocated.
A g radin g and draina plan has not been submitted to date but we understand
one is to be furnished at a later date for our review and approval.
While not totall relatin to en it is su that the Cit ma
want to allow the applicant to not pave some of the parkin spaces shown.
While the ordinance re the number of spaces provided, this t of fa-
cilit t does not need this q uantit y . Approval could be conditioned
on pavin additional spaces if and when parkin problems warrant extra spaces.
It is hoped that the comments contained herein will assist y ou and the Cit
Council in reviewin this proposal,
Yours ver trul
