1. Certificate of Survey that the City of Oak Park Heights has had
completed as it affects the area of the St. Croix Mali vis-a-vis Swager Park facility
showing the area that we would like to acquire for proposed park and walkway easement.
The City of Oak Park Heights would like to extend its bike and pathway as
an adjunct to our Swager Park through the area described in the easement. This area is
located immediately on the east of the St. Croix Mali and we believe would be a nice
complement both to the neighborhood as well as to the City parkland and linear park and
also a very good adjunct to bringing pedestrian and bike traffic into the St.
Croix Mall from the west.
We would ask that Northwest Investment take a serious look at the issue
and consider granting the City this permanent easement so that we can complete our park
facilities together with the bike and pathway easements that are necessary to allow the
pedestrian and bike traffic to flow into the mall area from this park. We trust that you
will find that this is a benefit both to your interest in the property as well as the City's.
