Dear Mr. Vierlin
Thank y ou for y our letter of Februar 18, 2004. 1 understand it is the Cit of Oak
Park Hei position that the si and canop was never permitted nor was an
application submitted for a si permit on that location b m client. We are lookin into
the issue of the canop si and an application for a si permit. I think it is incorrect
for y ou to assume we have no intention of removin the si We are certainl tr
to review our options since it does not seem to make sense to remove the si submit
an application and put the si back.
However, I find it difficult to understand how the City's intent, in effect, is to
re the content of the si that was put on the canop When the propert was
operated as a g asoline service station, there was plent of si explainin the products
for sale. What we are lookin for is a solution to this issue and not the violation of some
ordinance. Your thou would be appreciated.
Finall we recentl received a bill from Oak Park Hei re the cit
services relatin to the conditional use permit. Could y ou please direct m attention to
the cit ordinances which allow the char of third parties' services a the
