Regarding the landscape plan for Krongard Construction Co.'s proposed
Valley View Estates 4th Addition, it is very n:Lnima.l and will not be an asset to the development. If
the shrub planting beds are approximately 23' wide as indicated in the drawings, there is not enough
plant material in the planting beds to form attractive plantings, even at maturity. ' Col.dflame'
sparea and junipers have been overused. The river birch /juniper bed by bldg. 1/2 is acceptable;
however, the river birch should be multi -- stem.. What species of maple is being proposed by bldg. 3/4?
I do not see a landscape plan for bldg. 5/6 in the packet. I would like to see more thought /design in
a landscape plan, perhaps using different plant material, for this development.
