Please be advised that the Plannin Commission, at their November 18, 1999 meetin
voted unanimousl to den the re of Joel and Carol Lombard for a variance in
order to construct an addition to their home at 5527 Oak Place North. The
addition would be a three-season porch that would be located 14 feet from the rear
propert line. A variance is necessar in that a 30 foot setback is re from rear
propert lines in the R-1, Sin Famil District.
The Lombards were present at the meetin to explain their re Additionall one
nei was present who supported the re for the variance.
The Plannin Commission indicated that the were not supportive of the variance in
that there were other options for addin onto the structure and that there was no
justifiable hardship as outlined in the plannin report dated November 4, 1999.
