Dear Mr. McGee:
The Cit of Oak Park Hei is in receipt of y our application dated Ma 15, 2007
seekin consideration b the Cit for y our project. The application consists of re
for a conditional use permit for open and outdoor stora to allow Lowe's to park truck
trailers for stora of pallets and used appliances on the south side of the store. To
screen the trailers and the appliances, additional fencin bermin and landscapin will
be constructed.
With this letter, we are notif y ou that y our application will be deemed complete with
receipt of the followin items b Ma 30, 2007. If the materials are not submitted b that
date, the application will be deemed incomplete and the application will not be
accepted.
The applicant shall identif the hei of the trailers used to store the pallets and
used appliances.
2. The applicant should provide photo of the stora area, as well as views
into the site from 88th Street and Nova Scotia.
3. For a previous approval, the applicant was to suppl decibel verification for the
back up generators.

City staff reviewed the application materials at a meeting on May 23, 2007. There were
concerns about the visibility of the trailers from 58th Street and - Nova Scotia Avenue.
Staff would like to discuss the extent of the new fencing and screening that is proposed.
We would invite you and your representatives to a staff meeting on May 30, 2007 at
10 :45 AM at City Hall to discuss these issues and address any questions you may have.
If all of the application materials are submitted as requested, the - Planning Commission
would consider the application at their meeting scheduled for June 14, 2007 at 7:00 PM
in the City !-fall Council chambers.
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 15.99, Subd. 3(fl, the City of Oak Park Heights is
herewith extending the period of time for agency /city review of the application for an
additional 60 day period (for a total of 120 days from the date of application) inasmuch
as the City has determined that additional research and study by City staff relative to the
complexity of the project as proposed will be required. Please contact me with any
