of Oak Park Heights is in receipt of your application submitted on August 11,

a co conditional use permit to utilize razor ribbon coil wire and a fence height variance to
secure an existing on-grade generator and transformers. With this letter, we are
notifying that application will be deemed complete with receipt of the following

items by August ust 20 , 2009. If the materials are not submitted by that date, the
application will be deemed incomplete.
1. The original signed application is required as well as a cash escrow amount of
$1,000.00.
2. P Photos of the generator/transformer site including close ups and views from
Osgood and the Valley View Park entrance road.

Contact should be made with the Middle St. Croix Watershed District to
determine if any review is required for the perimeter access road improvements.
Staff reviewed the ap plication materials at a meeting on August 19, 2009. We would
invite you y our u and representatives to a staff meeting on August 20, 2009 at 10:30 AM

at City
Hall to discuss these issues and address any questions you may have. In
particul ar , we would like to discuss the addition of some landscape materials to provide
screening of the generator and transformer.

If all of the application materials are submitted as requested, the Planning Commission
would consider the application at their meeting scheduled for September 10, 2009 at
7:00 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers.
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 15.99, Subd. 3(f}, the City of oak Park Heights is
herewith extending the period of time for agency /city review of the application for an
additional 50 day period (for a total of 120 days from the date of application) inasmuch
as the Cit y has determined that additional research and study by City staff relative to the
complexity of the project as proposed will be required. Please contact me with any
questions you may have.
