Subject: McKean Square Tree Protection
Tom, Todd, Ken and OPH Staff
I inspected the McKean Square site on Sun. Nov. 2. The tree protection fencing has been put back up around most areas
of pines and a couple places around oaks, where appropriate. I would like to know why it had not yet been replaced
around the oaks surrounding the building and parking lot on the knoll mid - property between the two wetland areas? It
does not look like final grading and seeding have taken place there. Construction is very close to many of these oaks and
some of them are not going to survive. Some pruning has been done on oaks in this area and that will be helpful in
preventing further damage by limb breakage. Todd or Ken please call or email me regarding the status of fencing in that
central oak knoll area. Thanks.
