INS COMMUNITY PLANNING — DESIGN MARKET RESEARCH MEMORANDUM TO: Tom Melena FROM: Scott Richards / Kris Danielson DATE: February 11, 1999 RE: Oak Park Heights - Ryder Student Transportation CUP FILE NO: 798.02 - 98.07 Please be advised that representatives of Ryder Student Transportation Services have asked for a further continuation of the public hearing and consideration of a conditional use permit to allow for a bus storage and maintenance facility at 5302 Stagecoach Trail North. The public hearing had been scheduled for the February 25, 1999 meeting of the Planning Commission, but representatives of Ryder have asked for additional time to respond to the questions related to environmental issues, traffic, and external effects to the surrounding area. The meeting for additional public comments and to consider the request is now scheduled as follows: Oak Park Heights Planning Commission March 18, 1999 7:00 PM Oak Park Heights City Hall 14168 North 57th Street Oak Park Heights, MN 55082 Any written comments related to the request can be forwarded to the address listed above. We would encourage the public to attend this meeting and be heard. Representatives of Ryder have indicated that they would hold a neighborhood meeting of their own before the March 18, 1999 Planning Commission meeting. Ryder will be contacting the surrounding residents with the time and place for this meeting.
