Dear Ms. Wilson:
I am writing to request a subdivision waiver regarding a
potential split of Lot 14, Block 1, St. Croix Mall PUD, which lot
is in the process of being replatted as a portion of Lot 1, Block
2, St. Croix Mall PUD Second Addition.
As you know, an addition to the K mart Store at the St. Croix
Mall Shopping Center is currently under construction. K mart's
lease includes not only the building constructed, but also the
parking area to the south of the addition and south of K mart's
existing store.
Enclosed you will find a copy of a Certificate of Survey as
prepared by Barrett M. Stack giving the current legal descriptions
for the parcel where the building is being built (Parcel 1) and for
the parcel designated for parking (Parcel 2). Attached to those
legal descriptions as sheets two and three are partial copies of
St. Croix Mall PUD Second Addition, as proposed, and St. Croix Mall
PUD existing recorded plat, with the two parcels outlined on each.
The waiver we request relates to splitting Parcel 2 from the
balance of Lot 1, Block 2, in the proposed plat.
The plat has been approved by the City, is currently being
reviewed by the county surveyor, and should be ready for recording
shortly.
