Dear Mary,
Per our discussion, I indicated that I would make a copy of the plat that the City may possibly
have that would give to you the approximate dimension and location of the lots in your area. I
have enclosed a copy of the plat filed with the County at the time of the development of your
neighborhood; but the City file does not contain a survey of your property.
As I stated in our conversation this plat only indicates the size of your lot, which may help in
locating your property survey pins, but this document itself is NOT A SURVEY. The City does
not locate property pins nor may we interpret surveys for define property lines as these are
private property matters and reserved for licensed and registered Minnesota surveyors only.
However this map may be'helpful in locating the property pins or other dimension.
Regarding the contractor who resided your home, I stated that he was licensed by the state and
here is the department's address for your reference:
