Zoninq / Develooment Items
0 . rhe City has received an application for some vegetative cutting at
SUnnyside Marina by their contractor St. Croix 'free Service. As this is in the
City's Riverway district, if does require a specific City review. Kathy Widin has
walked the site with St. Croix Tree Service and has commented t hat the
propose plan to remove dead, at-risk and invasive species is warranted. See
enclosed approval letter.
2. Staff met with a representative frorn Autozone about a possible project next
to Jerry's Auto Body.
3. 1 have set another reminder to the MI- about the benches and bus
stop signs that go Ur`)Used in the City. We are seeking the removal /relocation
of these items.
4. With guidance from Bonestroo, I have submitted a grant application to the
MN Dept of Health for grant funding to aid in implementation of the City's
well head protection program. The award could be up to $10,000 with $0
matching requirement.
St. Croix River LPjpss1ng
Councilmember Abrahamson indicated that Sen. Kathy Saltzman has advocated
to the Chamber that they should perhaps consider forming a sub-group which can
engage the City's concerns and report back to the larger group. We will await
further communication on this matter.
City Hall Facilltv
Parking lot striping was slated for today, but did not yet occur, it is possible they will
appear this weekend.
Mr. Engel has requested a price quote from Linner Electric on a flagpole light, this
price is anticipated to be received next Tuesday am. Enclosed are the
specifications.
