After discussion, Councilmember Kern, seconded b Swenson, moved to approve a donation of $2,500.00 to the Chamber. Carried 5-0. Councilmember Schaaf, seconded b Swenson, moved to approve a donation of $500.00 to the Tourism Alliance. Carried 5-0. Menards - Re for P Si - Gar Colb was present representin Menards re that the Council g rant a approval for either a 200 s foot, 30 foot hi si located close to the fronta road, or, a 400 s foot, 80 foot hi si located just north of Menards propert Cit Planner Richards noted that since the Cit did not allow billboards, Menards must own the land its si is located upon. Jim McGovern, representin landowner Bob Bracke said the were willin to compl with whatever the Cit re Councilmember Swenson, seconded b Schaaf, moved to approve a 200 s foot, 30 foot hi p si for Menards as a condition of their previousl g ranted Conditional Use Permit, with the further condition that the land the si was located on be owned b Menards. Carried 5-- 0. Update on AuDlebees - Robertson noted that the Cit had received a re from Elmer Haase for a feasibilit stud to be done for the proposed Haase Addition, alon with a check to pa for the stud Councilmember Kern, seconded b Swenson, moved to direct the Cit En to perform the feasibilit stud Carried 5-0. Trail Committee - Councilmember Robert noted that staff has issued a Draft Trail S Plan, which will be discussed at the next Trail Committee meetin on Ma 24 at 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Schaaf, seconded b Swenson, moved to set a Council workshop on Monda June 19, 1995 at 7:30 p.m. at Oak Park Hei Cit Hall for Council to review the proposed Trail S Plan. Carried 5-0. Update on Design - Review Committee - Councilmember Robert updated the Council on the latest meetin Robert, seconded b Schaaf, moved to re MNDOT to raise the concrete barrier on the proposed St. Croix River Brid to 4 feet for g reater noise reduction, this re does not constitute a response to MNDOT's proposed la plans for the brid or Hi 36 pursuant to MS 161-174. Carried 5-0.
