Re for Refund of Li Licenses - Club Tara - Cit Attorne
Vierlin indicated that the Cit had received a re from Club
Tara for a pro-rated refund of their li license fee. He
stated that the Cit has never had a li license revoked and
that there is no polic re whether refunds are permitted.
Vierlin re that the Cit develop a polic for g uidin g
this in the future. There was discussion b the Council about
differentiatin between loss of license due to revocation
compared to bankruptc There was also discussion about the
costs to the Cit Councilmember Robert, seconded b Beaudet,
moved to not allow for a refund when a li license is revoked
due to the costs incurred b the Cit in investi fees.
Carried 5-0.
Washin Count Five Year Ca I.mpr,ovement Plan (CIP) -
Councilmember Robert said that after reviewin the Count
proposed CIP, she noticed that there is no mention of the
Oak Avenue project. She recommended that the Cit En
send a letter to Washin Count makin an ar wh this
project is important. Council was in consensus to direct Cit
En Anderlik to contact the Count on this issue. Council

was in consensus to appoint Councilmembers Swenson and Robert as
a committee to ne with the Count if necessar
Resi of City Administrator Robertson - Councilmember
Turn read a letter from Mike Robertson announcin his
resi as Cit Administrator effective December 23, 1997.
Councilmember Turn seconded b Swenson, moved to accept the
resi and authorize Ma Schaaf to si the necessar
amendment to Robertson's contract. Carried 5-0.
Councilmember Turn thanked Robertson for the g ood job he has
done, acknowled
in that bein the first Cit Administrator in a
c it is a tou job. He also said that Robertson has handled the

position with professionalism, patience, understandin and a
sense of humor. The Council wished Robertson g ood luck in the
future.

Letter from Menards- About Garba Prices - There was discussion
about the validit of the other price proposals that Menards
presented. Councilmember Swenson, as the g arba g e liason, a
to find out what other Menards stores in the area pa for g arba g e
service and report his findin back to the Council.
Letter About MNZDOT-Easement - Cit Attorne Vierlin said that
this letter was to serve as an informational piece for the
Council and that the easement ma or ma not even happen.
Future Council Meetings - The Council discussed the upcomin
meetin the will be attending.
