2. Administration
a. Interim Administrator Holst asked if an Councilmember
would be interested in attendin a TIC' conference on
Februar 5 and 6. She re that an wishin to
g o contact her so that the re materials can
be sent in.
b. Holst also re direction on how to handle the
re b Brian DeRosier to remove a boulevard tree
from his y ard. Councilmember Robert said that she had
visited the home and re DeRosier to call some
tree service companies. If the will remove it at the
same price that the normall char the Cit he is to
call Holst to arran to have the tree removed.
C. Holst then told Council that she had received a re
from Stillwater for the $50,000 contribution the Cit
had a to for the ice arena. She asked how the
Council would like to handle this situation. Council
said that the would like Holst to send the $50,000 to
Stillwater with a letter statin that the initial
conditions have chan and that ma affect future
contributions if the are not addressed. Specificall
the Council would like an advisor board established.
Council then directed Holst to add these items to the
Consent A
d. Holst also asked Council for direction on Consultant
David Hozza's project for a one-stop shop process for
development in the Cit Council re that Holst
g et a time estimate from Hozza to determine who would
be finishin this project.
e. Holst asked if staff could fax items to the Council on
a dail basis rather than cop ever into the
weekl packet. She said that the monthl cop costs
are between $250-$300 per month. Councilmember Robert,
who has a thermal fax, was the onl one who wished to
continue with the weekl packets as the are currentl

prunin on Monda Januar 19.
9. Holst reported that newsletter bids and roof repair
bids and specifications will be presented at the
Januar 27 meetin Councilmember Robert re
that a price estimate be made on addin an awnin to
the front entrance of Cit Hall.
h. Council directed staff to contact Menard's to inform
them that the will need to appl for a si variance
because the have too man cate si on the front
of their store.
