Box 2007 Oak Park Hei MN 55082-2007 Re: Menard's Expansion Gradin & Utilit Plan Review BRA File No. 55-03-000 Dear Eric: We received storm water runoff calculations, g radin g & utilit plans on October 13, 2003 for the proposed Menard's Expansion from Larson En of Minnesota, and have the followin comments/recommendations for y our consideration: Gra 1. The proposed g radin g plan is acceptable as submitted. A few items to note are as follows: Other than fillin in/repairin a minor washout, no g radin g is proposed north of the site improvements (i.e., on the existin pond slopes). The silt fence in the vicinit of the existin storm water pond should be installed hi than the hi water level of 924.2. Storm Sewer/Water -Main: 3. The storm water runoff calculations are acceptable as submitted. 4. The proposed flared end section should enter the existin storm water pond at the normal water level elevation of 917.0. 5. A minimum of 10 cubic y ards of riprap shall be installed at the flared end section outlet to the existin storm water pond (4 CY are shown 6. The water main la is acceptable as submitted. Demolition and restoration will be takin place to the existin street, curb & g utter and boulevard within Krue Lane ri -of -wa for drivewa entrance modifications. Additionall existin pond slopes will be disturbed as part of the storm sewer and silt fence installations adjacent to the Menard's Pond. The Cit should obtain a Letter Of Credit from the owner/developer in the amount of $5,000 ($4,000 x 125%) to cover the costs associated with these improvements.
