As per your direction I contacted the following:
Minnesota Historical Society (296 - 6126). - They forwarded me to the Washington
County Historical Society (439- 5956).
"They have some old farmstead, but none
that are in the national historical register.
No other historically significant building,
area, monument, etc. are located in the
study area ".
On calling back and inquiring about the
Church, I was informed that this church
dated back from 1855 and was the first
German Lutheran Church in the US.
According to my contact, there is a group
of people who are trying to get this church
acknowledged in the national register.
On calling the State Historical
Preservation department (296- 5434), I
was informed that this Church was not in
their national register.
Pollution Control Agency (296 - 6300).- Left message with Soils and Ground
Water pollution department. Waiting to
hear from them. Is there any other
specific pollution information you are
looking for.
