Oak Park Heights, MN 55082 Re: Signage Allowance: B-4, Limited Business District Zone Dear Mr. Montanari: am writing in response to your telephone call inquiry as to signage allowance at 13481 60 St. N. City of Oak Park Heights Sign Ordinance 401.15.G allows this site to have one freestanding sign no larger than 100 square feet in size. Cumulative allowable signage for the entire site including all signage, is based upon 15% of the front building facade but may be no greater than 300 square feet unless approved by conditional use permit or as part of any planned unit development. In short, after you calculate 15% of the building front facade square footage and deduct the square footage of the monument sign (permit no. 2005-00271) the difference will be what remains for wall signage use. Be reminded that in no case may your cumulative signage exceed 300 sq. feet unless approved by conditional use permit or as part of any planned unit development. At such time you submit permit application for additional signage, you are asked to provide square footage dimensions of existing signage, including the monument sign. hope that this addresses your inquiry satisfactorily.
