Re: Monument Sign - Permit No. 2005 -00271 & "For Sale" Vehicles
Please be advised that Building Official Jim Butler performed an inspection for the sign
installed under permit number 2005-00274 on April 3, 2006. The sign as installed has
failed inspection in that the background is white and is illuminated. The sign face must be
of dark background or of non- illuminated background. Please be further advised that this
sign face and /or illumination component must be corrected and reinspection scheduled.
Until such correction and inspection approval, the illumination feature of your sign
should not be used.
On another note, the `for sale" vehicles at your business front must be removed as
outdoor sales are not part of your approved PUD and are not permitted within your
zoning district without a conditional use permit granting the activity. If this is something
you would like to pursue, please contact me or City Administrator Johnson. Meanwhile,
please have the "for sale" vehicles removed from your business site prior to the 19 of
this month.
