Ref: Permit # 2009 -00232 for the construction of a retaining wall
Dear David,
Last May I addressed a letter to you regarding the progress of your retaining wall which you started in October of
2009. Later that week we also met to discuss this project. On Wednesday, October 8, 2010, 1 was directed to do a
follow up inspection of this project. My inspection revealed several violations to the City's Zoning Ordinance,
some of which were addressed to you in May and to date have not been corrected.
At this time the City must set a deadline for the corrections to the code violations and the completion of this
project. Below is a list of corrections to be made:
1) The shed must be place on the pad located in the Southwest corner of your lot, as you proposed. Please
note that this building needs to be painted.
2) The boat must be parked on the parking pad. (Please note that you are permitted to have 2 recreational
vehicles parked outside of a utility building)
3) All miscellaneous items being stored outside need to be stored within the utility shed or your garage.
This includes, but is not limited to:
a) Saw horses
b) Camper top
c) Step ladder and the extension ladder
d) Two wheel push cart
e) Wheel barrels
f) Karrite Storage box
g) Scaffolding
h) PVC piping
Items # 2 & 3 are to be corrected immediately. Item #1 is to be corrected no later than November 1, 2010. In
addition, the completion of the retaining wall to the rear lot line and final grade must be completed no later than
