In re: Bud Kern building permit
Dear Ken:
Dave Magnuson, representing Bud Kern, has contacted
our office regarding the above entitled matter. As you are
probably aware, Kern proposes to make an addition to his building
• by extending it Easterly for approximately thirty feet. You are
in receipt of a letter written by Dick Fredlund wherein he has
indicated that the East lot line is deemed to be the rear lot
line and, therefore, a thirty foot setback is necessary.
Because the building is presently oriented toward the
Southerly boundary line, it would be our strong recommendation
that a variance, if requested, be granted. Before a building
permit can be issued, it would be necessary for the Council to
act upon the variance request and determine that the other
requirements of the ordinance have been met.
Should you have any questions regarding this matter,
please do not hesitate to contact our office.
Yours very truly,
J es F. Lammers
