C U R B A N P L A N N I N G • D E S I G N • M A R K E T R E S E A R C H TI LE C Opy MEMORANDUM - VIA TELECOPIER TO: LaVonne Wilson FROM: Curtis Gutoske DATE: 13 August 1990 RE: Oak Park Heights - Conoco CUP FILE NO: 798.02 - 89.14 Mr. Harry Schroeder, project architect for the Conoco redevelopment request, telephoned me this morning and informed me that they are not going to pursue the detached car wash. This is in response to my memo of 9 August 1990 which stated that development would require a zoning variance or an enlargement of the mini -mart to accommodate the proposed size of the car wash. Conoco did not wish to pursue these alternatives and have chosen to keep the car wash attached to the main building. Mr. Schroeder did indicate, however, that they would like to locate a rear drive aisle on the south side of the car wash for a proposed auto -vac stand. This is a minor revision to the previously approved plan and should pose no problems to the development. The plans will have to be revised to reflect this change before any building permits are issued. cc: Lyle Eckberg Mark Vierling Joe Anderlik Mick Kaehler Harry Schroeder 4601 Excelsior Blvd. • Suite 410 • Minneapolis, MN 55416 • (612) 925-9420 • Fax 925 -2721
