S h eet C3.04 It appears that a v ehicle wou have a dlf ICUlt time leaving the l ast parking stall on the nor thwest end without making several small movement . Frorn sheet C3.01 the development has exceeded the required n =her of parking stall. Therefore, it is recommended that the northeast Mall is designated as a no parking stall. This will provide more area for cars backing in up and for cars to turn around if they enter the lot and it is full. S h eet C - 4.01 I . It is estimated that a " drop is between the sidewalk and the retaining wall on the west side of the building. What is the horizontal distance between the wall and the sidewalk? will this 4 11 drop be f illed with some type of material? If possible, remove the drainage swale and grade the area to skeet flow to the north /northwest onto Oak Park Center's property. 3 . Note "d11 under infiltration b asin construc req uirements call for th f ip rap to be placed according to the detail on C-9.0 This detail is for a rock check dam with 2"-3" rock for 2 .0 acres of drainage area. In addition, N5 connection is a 6 # x 12 " wet tap which would include the gale at tapping, Therefore, a valve is not necessary three feet from the hydrant. show the symbol for the wet tap valve on the plans. 5 . The following comments all refer to the outlet structure for the rain garden: a. The note states that the orifice plate is removed through the 2 r' opening. A detail is required of this orifice plate. what material is it How is it removed? How is it attached to the bottom of the structure? How tall is it? e� The hydToCAD model shows a 5 opening for the orifice and the detail shows a 4.9 orifice. The following note should b included in the plans: Fire hydrants shall incorporate an AI~ - waterous Storz Nozzle. ie. The hydrant pumper nozzle shall be of one -piece design, compatible with a " Stoiz hose coupling. The nozzle shall be an integral part o f the fire hydrant and rust be furnished by the manufacturer or authorized distributor designated by the manufacturer, Storz adapters will not be accepted. 2 .
