When i have a letter from Bonstroo accepting the final plans I can then check that item off the list as part of your
necessary reviews. This rust also be completed prior to the issuance of any permits.

stop it short.

It appears that a v ehicle wou have a dlf ICUlt time leaving the l ast parking stall on the nor thwest
end without making several small movement . Frorn sheet C3.01 the development has exceeded
the required n =her of parking stall. Therefore, it is recommended that the northeast Mall is
designated as a no parking stall. This will provide more area for cars backing in up and for cars to
turn around if they enter the lot and it is full.

I . It is estimated that a " drop is between the sidewalk and the retaining wall on the west side of
the building. What is the horizontal distance between the wall and the sidewalk? will this 4 11
drop be f illed with some type of material? A detail is required slowing the horizontal and vertical
design for the sidewalk at the retaining wall. The location of th e railing should also be shown on
the detail.

2 . The drainage Swale on the southwest side is directed into the adjacent property's trash enclosure.
If possible, remove the drainage swale and grade the area to skeet flow to the north /northwest
onto Oak Park Center's property.
3 . Note "d11 under infiltration b asin construc req uirements call for th f ip rap to be placed
according to the detail on C-9.0 This detail is for a rock check dam with 2"-3" rock for 2 .0 acres
of drainage area. The rip rap in the rain ardens shall be a larder rock than �' � " stone.

appears to be a symbol used for protection at inlets. Rip rap shall be placed at the end of this

2 . Identify the quantity of rip rap that is being placed at the curb cuts to the rainwater garden.
3 . On the east side of the paring lot, approximately 40 foot from the NE corner, there is a symbol
that appears to represent inlet protection, ho wever, there is no structure at this location.

1 . - rho sizes and material for the existing sanitary sewer and water main shall be shown on the
plans. The sanitary sewef is " V P sanitary server and the water main is 1 " DIP.
2 . The " PVC sanitary sewer shall be S DR 26.
The water service is being connected to the main line with a 6 't x 12 it wet tap which would
include a 6 date va lve. The s ymbol for the va lve s hould be s hown on th plans{
4. The hydrant lead is shown as connecting into the sanitary sewer. In addition, N5 connection is a
6 # x 12 " wet tap which would include the gale at tapping, Therefore, a valve is not necessary
three feet from the hydrant. show the symbol for the wet tap valve on the plans.
5 . The following comments all refer to the outlet structure for the rain garden:

b. what is the elevation at the top of the structure?
c. what type of casting is being placed on the structure?
d. The note states that the orifice plate is removed through the 2 r' opening. A detail is
required of this orifice plate. what material is it How is it removed? How is it attached
to the bottom of the structure? How tall is it?
e� The hydToCAD model shows a 5 opening for the orifice and the detail shows a 4.9
orifice.

7. In the plan vi a note calls out t see inlet structure on 09.01 There is no in let structure on the
drawings,
1. The following note should b included in the plans:
Fire hydrants shall incorporate an AI~ - waterous Storz Nozzle. ie. The hydrant pumper nozzle
shall be of one -piece design, compatible with a " Stoiz hose coupling. The nozzle shall be an
integral part o f the fire hydrant and rust be furnished by the manufacturer or authorized
distributor designated by the manufacturer, Storz adapters will not be accepted.
2 . The detail for the sanitary service has information n missing as designated by, 10 xx 11 ,
