Re: Wall Pack Compliance- Correction Request
Dear Mr. Massey:
On May 25, 2011 I wrote you regarding two exterior wall -pack light fixtures being non - compliant to
City of Oak Park Heights Ordinance 401.15.B.7 "Outdoor Lighting," and requested the fixtures be
brought into compliance no later than June 9, 2011.
I received several phone calls from you and one from your electrician. On June 20, 2011, you and I
spoke, wherein you informed me that you placed tape over the two fixtures, effectuating the cut off
and that shields were going to be installed.
As of today, the tape remains in place and permanent shields have not been installed.
You are to take the necessary steps to get the shields installed and bring the fixtures into ordinance
compliance no later than Friday, August 5, 2011. A compliance check will be made after this date. If
compliance is not found the City will be left with little option but to pursue legal remedies available for
the ongoing misdemeanor violation, which if pursued may result in a citation to you personally.
Please contact me immediately, if you have any questions regarding this request.
Sincerely,
ILA- -
