In accordance with the federal and state hazardous waste regulations, Wal -Mart
Stores 1861 is required to notify you of our facility's hazardous waste
activities. The facility is required to give local police, fire departments, hospitals,

The purpose of this Contingency Plan is to provide information to Associates on
how to respond to emergencies such as fires, explosions, or spills that result from
hazardous materials or hazardous wastes stored at your facility. The contingency
plan identifies the Emergency Coordinator, defines the responsibilities of the

premises or on call (i.e. available to respond to an emergency by reaching the
facility within a short period of time) with the responsibility for coordinating all
emergency response measures. The facility manager is the primary Emergency
