Various Development Items: There have been no new submissions. The Oakgreen Village (South) will be on the Planning Commission agenda for Feb 12 2004. On Jan 26 the Parks Commission will be asked to comment on the Oakgreen Village North and the possible City purchase of the 150 strip of land in Oakgreen Village (South). 2. HWY 36 TAG / RESOLVE Process Please see various correspondence provided from Mary McComber and concept drawings of various Bridge Alternatives (B-E )layouts. 3. Pro osed Council Worksession Janua 27" 2004 - 6 s m C Hall Please see my memo requesting a worksession. If you cannot attend please drop me a note. 4. KFC/Taco Johns Enclosed you will find a letter to Alan Kretman of the above development - the City is still awaiting final color samples and architectural clarification. A building permit will not be issued until all elements are provided.Staff is still working with Developer(s) to complete the DA, Plat and other necessary items. 5. Coalition of Utility Cities We are still awaiting a summray report from the recent CUC meeting. Attached are the 2004 Policy Positions for the CUC. There were some modifications, but as yet we have not seen those in final form. 6. Emergency Vehicle Pre Grant We have received a response from MnDOT - they have awarded us a grant of $16, 200. The initial application requested $3 0,000 - so they have provided a little better than one-half of the estimated and necessary funding. Enclosed is their letter for your review. I will be contacting MNDOT on the terms and issues related to the reduce amount and discussing alternative funding. Stand by. 7. Governor's Bonding Priorities Mark Swenson provied me a copy of a memo from the LMC Bulletin. Please note the Flood Water Hazzard Mitiagtion inititive. Perhaps this is where the Perro Project would be funded. Alterntively, it could be part of the "Corrections" bonding portion.
