Box 603 Humboldt, IA 50548 Re: 5595 Memorial Ave. N., Oak Park Heights, MN (PIN 06.029.20.24.0033) — Signage Compliance Dear Mr. Harklau: Thank you for your letter in response to the October 13, 2011 compliance request relative the above - referenced property. In light of your recent purchase of the property, your request for a 30 day extension to the October 27, 2011 compliance deadline is reasonable and hereby granted with the letter. The extended compliance deadline is November 26, 2011. By this date and time compliance to City Ordinance 401.15.G.15.c. that directs signs be removed within 30 days of the closing date of a business, when the business permanently closes or leaves a tenant space. Compliance to the sign panels in the monument sign located to the east of the building is to be met by replacing them with blank panels that match those in place upon the sign. Failure to meet compliance by November 26, 2011, shall result in this matter being forwarded to the Oak Park Heights Police Department for misdemeanor citation to you personally. Please note that City Ordinance violations are misdemeanor violations, subject to a $3,000 fine and /or other penalties. Work to the sign requires a building permit and shall be done by a licensed sign contractor. I have enclosed a copy of the permit application and a contractor license for your use.
