Re: Outside Storage, Lawn Maintenance, & Home Maintenance,
Dear Mr. Hellerman,
On May 4th I stopped by your home to investigate the conditions of the site and found un- operable
vehicles, a vehicle with an expired license, a large quantity of items stored beneath tarps, and a great
amount of debris scattered throughout the property. At that time you stated that you were going to
proceed with cleanup of the yard. Yesterday, May 16 I stopped by to see how things were
progressing. I was glad to see that the site was beginning to look better. As I mentioned to Lynn I would
be addressing a letter to you with a deadline date for completion.
This letter is being written to notify you of that date and a follow up on the remaining items listed below
to be corrected to comply with the requirements of the City's Zoning Ordinance:
1) The Trailer for towing vehicles must be parked in the driveway and not in the rear yard
(Lynn stated that was going to be removed from the site).
2) The two boats on site must be on the driveway /parking pad (the ordinance only permits two
recreational vehicles and /or pieces of equipment to be stored outside).
3) The Styrofoam sheets stored beneath the green tarp must be stored within an accessory
building or removed from the site.
4) The wooden pallets stored beneath the blue and gray tarps must be stored within an accessory
building or removed from the site.
5) Snow blowers, lawn mowers, gas cans, tires, and other miscellaneous items on the site must be
stored in an accessory building or removed from the site.
6) The canvas tarps hanging over the south house windows are to be removed.
All of the above items are to be brought into compliance with the City's Zoning Code no later than May
31, 2011, or further actions will be taken by the City. If you have any questions please call me.
Thank you, '
