Oak Park Heights, MN 55082 Re: Special Event Signage Removal Request Dear Mr. Raduenz: As you are aware, City Ordinance 401.15.G. regulates special event signage within the City of Oak Park Heights and requires that a "no fee" permit be pulled for such signage and allows for a maximum of 50 calendar days per year. Since July 29, 2009, 1 have sent several communications to you and /or Rich Chase regarding these requirements and have requested removal of the special event items you currently have on display, including but not limited to: 1. The banner at Hwy. 5; and 2. The Mr. Goodwrench sign on your tire rack with service hours In my July 30 email to you and Rich, I reminded you that as of July 31, 2009 Stillwater Motors will have utilized the 50 calendar days permitted by City Ordinance per actual special event permits issued and your most recent placement without a permit on July 21, 2009. At this time, you continue to be in violation of City Ordinance 401.15.G.8 and are requested to remove the special event signs and displays at your business site within ten business days but no later than the end of the day Wednesday, August 26, 2009. A compliance check will be made after the 26 th. As I have indicated in my conversations with you and Mr. Chase, if there are sign needs that your business needs to be successful, please share those needs with me and /or City Administrator Johnson so that your needs and concerns can be taken into consideration for any change to this ordinance.
