Your continued commitment to utilize our services to help your community reach your desired goals and visions is greatly appreciated. With the increasing challenges being brought on to our municipal clients by the existing economic conditions together with the severe drop in local government aid we are proposing to have a zero percent increase in our rate schedule for 2010 similar to 2008 to 2009. We understand the difficult situations our clients are experiencing. At the present time the City is paying the following: • Per - meeting charge: $140/hour Civil work: $135/hour Both of these charges are based on non - litigation work. For calendar year 2010, our fees will be as follows: Per - meeting charge: $150/hour Civil work (non - litigation): $140/hour Legal Research and paralegal time $125.00 per hour Photocopy expense $ .20 per page Fax expense$ .50 per page outgoing /$1.00 per page incoming As with past years, matters in civil litigation and appellate work will be billed at our prevailing hourly rates for attorneys and staff within this office. The City has a multi -year contract with this firm for criminal prosecution services, and those rates will remain in place per the schedule provided.
