Dear Mr. and Mrs. Huston:
Our office received a permit application, dated October 09, 2002 for a basement remodeling
project at the above - referenced address. On October 16t Mr. Huston contacted the
Community Development Department regarding the status of this permit. At the time of
his call, he was advised that the permit was prepared and the balance of $186.26 was due.
To date this permit remains uncollected.
Please be advised that this permit has been voided and that any work as described within
your permit application that has been performed has been done so at your own risk and in
violation of City ordinance requirements. If you wish to proceed with the basement finish
project, you will need to reapply for permit at such time you are ready to commence the
project.
Enclosed herewith and returned to you is your original application documents. A copy of
the same and this letter have been placed in the property file for your address.
