Stillwater, MN 55082 Re: Home Repair @ 14798N 56th St., Oak Park Heights, MN Dear Mr. Harvieux, Thank you for addressing the items in my correction letter regarding the installation of an egress window for the second bedroom in the basement and for completing the egress window wells. I wish to inform you that the City has received inquiries as to the condition of the above referenced property. 'A site visit was made to the property wherein the following violations to the City of Oak Park Heights Zoning Ordinance were observed: 1) The exterior of the building is in great need of repair, including the repair or replacement of the siding, fascia, soffit, gutters, and final trim for the egress window. If the siding is repaired, it is to also be painted. 2) The retaining wall in the rear yard is in need of repair to maintain the integrity of the, hillside and the yard is to be seeded to prevent ;erosion. Until the grasses are established, silt fencing is required. 3) As with the house the shed shall also be repaired and painted. 4) The garage stairs have, different riser'heights and shall be removed and replaced with code compliant stairs. 5) The deck stairs do not comply with the Building Code and shall be removed and replaced with complying stairs, guard, and a gripable hand rail. 6) The egress windows need to be trimmed and properly flashed. 7) The building's foundation foam is damage and needs to be properly repaired and protected. , The following corrections to this property are to be completed by a licensed,contractor no later. than September 30, 2008.
