Box 119 Stillwater, Minnesota 55082 RE: Oak Park Heights — Oak Park Senior Living Phase I and II — PUD Amendment — City Council Action, December 13, 2011 Meeting FILE NO: 236.02 — 11.04 Dear Mr. Nolde: As a follow up to the December 19, 2011 City Council meeting, I wanted to provide you direction as to the City Council's action and the next steps with this project. The City Council approved a motion to change the Comprehensive Plan land use classification for the subject property from medium density to high density. This will move forward to the Metropolitan Council for approval. Additionally they approved a motion to send the application for the PUD amendment back to the Planning Commission. They specified two conditions to this motion, found as follows: 1. The third story on Building 4 shall be eliminated. Only two stories of dwelling units will be allowed for Building 4. 2. The overall density of the development, including the existing townhomes and Oakgreen Commons shall not exceed 275 to 291 dwelling units. Please provide revised plans to the City by December 21, 2011. We invite you and your representatives to a meeting with City Staff to discuss the revised plans on December 28, 2011, 10:00 A.M. at City Hall. If all of the application materials are submitted and issues resolved to the satisfaction of City Staff, the Planning Commission would consider the application at a meeting scheduled for January 12, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. in the City Hall Council chambers.
