Oak Park Heights — Oak Park Station Preliminary PIat1PUD
And S and C Bank
798.02 — 01.11
Please be advised that the Planning Commission, at their November 8, 2001 meeting,
voted to recommend the planned unit development approvals for a multiple lot
commercial development and the specific approvals for S and C Bank as the first phase
of the project. A copy of the resolution from the Planning Commission is attached.
The Planning Commission recommended that the proposed street within the
development be constructed as a public roadway and that 60 feet of right -of -way be
dedicated to the City. The developers are agreeable to this recommendation.
The City Council should hold on any approvals of the development. It is recommended
that the City Council set a public hearing at their November 13, 2001 meeting for
vacation of the existing easements in Kern Center and Kern Center 2nd Addition for the
December 11, 2001 meeting. The existing easements would be vacated and replaced
with the drainage and utility easements shown on the new plat labeled as Oak Park
Station. The planned unit development, plats, and vacation would be considered in
conjunction with the draft development contract at the December meeting.
